Still can’t believe it 💜 Honoured to deliver 2 keynotes + 3 panels at the #LipoedemaAustralia Conference 2025 in Canberra.

We tackled mental health in lipoedema. I’m leaving inspired by amazing women, researchers & advocates and future collaborations!💜

I think kindness is most important quality in psychotherapists.

Not usually sufficient to good outcome but almost always necessary.

Real problem in psych field that kindness is so ignored in selection/training/practice.

Some of worst therapists I've known have been supersmart.

Being kind boosts mental health more than seeking joy.

Evidence: Doing 3 random acts of kindness a week is enough to reduce depression, anxiety & loneliness. It's more beneficial than doing nice things for yourself.

Self-care feels good, but generosity builds lasting bonds.
